Serendivus International (Pvt) Ltd. is a newly established travel agency in Sri Lanka. Serendivus Travel & Tours  relied upon on other travel agents to generate their leads.  With the intention of going online eZoomers developed a new web design and implement Online Marketing  in June 2011 to match the intentions of the company.

The Travel & Tourism industry is a very competitive industry .Also with the recent boom in the Sri Lanka the company wanted to be ahead from other players in the industry.

The Solution

eZoomers developed a website that specialized for travel and tourism in Sri Lanka using CMS system. From that our clients has the flexibility of updating the website on their own. Also when developing the website we make sure to meet long term SEO strategies , that ultimayely results in increase in ROI of the investment made. In other words we developed a SEO friendly website.

The main issues on PPC campaigns were that they were going out of control and not generating required ROI for the company. Although they got few request from clients, the cost per acquisition (CPA) was way high. And in some markets the bid for the keywords is also at a higher level. At that time since this was a newly built website there was no SEO leads. This we have to depend on entirely on Google Advertising and we needed to generate profits on its advertising investment.

The Results

The campaign was taken over from the client and we quickly saw increase in efficiencies. From July December 2011, Serendivus’s paid search campaign saw a 660% increase in revenue with seasonal variation in investment on Google Advertising.

ROI-PPC

The ROI from PPC increased during each month ensuring company meets its objectives. At some points we had to temporally stop the campaign because of the number of request our client received was large and its was beyond the company capability of handling.
